Sharika Navamani is an artist and activist based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Sharika focuses on visual cultures and narratives produced by institutions that govern daily life in Sri Lanka, with a particular emphasis on state mechanisms. Their work interrogates the discomforts of contemporary Sri Lankan life, often intertwining their queerness and Tamil heritage.

Incorporating visual, digital, performative, and conceptual practices, Sharika's art addresses themes of identity, governance, and societal norms. Their impactful projects have been showcased in Colombo, Goa, and Dubai, contributing to critical dialogues about institutional influences and marginalized identities in Sri Lanka.
