Dan Ni is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Vietnam. Dan's works explore various themes, ranging from existentialism, and urban intimacy, to gender politics, and cultural decay; with a strong underlying queer presence.
Their practice examines the relationship between analog and digital art making, utilizing various techniques and disciplines. When night falls, Ni Xinh, or DJ-ÖRK—Dan Ni's drag persona—fuses music, fashion, performance, and storytelling in their work to express their ideas on queerness and break down the socially constructed notions about gender.
