Ange Dakouo is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mali. Ange is dedicated to exploring themes of cultural heritage and contemporary society through painting, video, sculpture, and installation. His work is deeply rooted in Mali's rich cultural tapestry, aiming to preserve and elevate its traditions while engaging with modern societal issues.

Ange's installations often draw inspiration from the amulets worn by hunters for sacred protection, meticulously crafting his pieces with folded newspaper and bound cotton thread—a homage to his father, a skilled printer. His artworks, known for their rigorous originality and meticulous craftsmanship, merge tradition with innovation, creating a dialogue between past and present.
